Everything at GROHE comes with a seal of exceptional quality. All our products’ components, ease of operation and perfect looks have to withstand numerous endurance tests – the toughest in the industry – and pass with flying colors before the products leave our premises.

  

At GROHE’s life testing laboratories in the Black Forest, our products are put through their paces and shown no mercy. Here, our brassware, showers and thermostats and all the components that go with them have to endure the simulated effects of 20 years’ daily use – with especially hard water. We strive for an excellence that goes way beyond the surface of our products. In fact, from design to production and customer service we aim for nothing less than perfection at every stage. Our history of great German engineering, rigorous internal tests and numerous external certification processes are what gives our customers complete confidence in a name they can trust.

Independent Testing

Also in independent tests overseen by rigorous juries, our brassware, showers and thermostats sparkle. In a durability test conducted by German testing and inspection services provider TÜV SÜD, GROHE’s Eurodisc won against nine other prestigious competitors.


Thanks to GROHE SilkMove® technology that ensures incomparably smooth and easy operation in all of our single handle faucets. In a survey by LGA Qualitest GmbH, our Grohtherm 3000, 2000 and 1000 thermostats each took first place among 17 thermostats from European manufacturers. Thanks to GROHE TurboStat® and GROHE CoolTouch®, our Grohtherm 3000 even came out overall winner with top scores in four categories.


And since we ourselves are pretty proud of our achievement, we’d also like to mention that the GROHE plant at Hemer, Germany, was among the winners of the “Die beste Fabrik” (“Best Factory”) competition organised by leading business magazine WirtschaftsWoche – for production and logistics, for customer focus and innovation.
